Cosmos bipinnatus. Cosmos is a hardy annual native to Mexico that can thrive in all regions of the U.S. Its flowers are a mix of dark red, light pink and solid white, emerging from April to November. Grows best in full sun to heights of 2-3 feet. Should be planted in early spring at a rate of 15 lbs. per acre.
